We couldn’t be more happy. The cabins are clean and ready to go. Fun fishing on the lake or from the dock. The fire pit and game area is a nice touch, too. Staff was available to help and answer questions when needed. Thank you, we had a great time and will be back. See ya soon, Marlow!
This is a great place to spend the vacation and visit Lake George! What's amazing about these cabins is that they are positioned right next to Lake Vanare so you wake up every morning to very beautiful scenery. The owners are very attentive and great people! Highly recommend these cabins!
Hidden gem. The dock and beach are on-site with unlimited row boat/canoe use. Fishing is top notch. Cabin #11 had steady WIFI, hot water, screened-in porch with Adirondack chairs and air conditioning. It was a perfect spot for an Adirondack escape. We enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to return!
We stayed in cabin 11 and my sister stayed in cabin 9. The cabins are cute, and come with everything you need. They could use a little updating but that didn't bother us. The property is well taken care of, quite & has some activities to do right there if you don't want to drive 10 minutes to lake George. Overall we had a great stay and will be back next year!
Lake Vanare Cabins is such a great family vacation spot. The owners are wonderful. Cabins super clean and come with everything you’d need and if you don’t have something , just ask the owner! The beach is great, along with the big pavilion full of seating and activities. There is a nice dock with canoes and rowboats. The cabins are also a short drive away from lake George so if it rains or you want to do something different, it’s easy to jump in the car and get into town. Last year was our first year staying here after years if searching for something just like this! We will be there next month and we are all looking forward to it!
Best place we have ever stayed. Just few minutes away to Lake George from this place. And there are lots of water activities in the area. Bob and his family is so warm and welcoming. They are wonderful hosts. They will make you feel comfortable. Cabins are so cozy. Clean and well maintained. There is a beautiful lake with lots of fishes and turtles, you can boat and fish. There’s also a small beach, tennis court and ping pong table. Lake Vanare Cabins is the best place to stay if you want a peaceful stay closer to nature. Loved every moment of the stay. Will definitely comeback next summer.
we stayed in cabin 15 which was great for my husband. he doesn't do stairs well after his stroke. he loved that. it was so peaceful and serene. we are looking forward to going back next year.
Quaint family style camping with fully equipped cabins. Sweet little beach and fun games like shuffle board and ping pong, corn hole and Foosball. Community campfire. Cabins have picnic tables and outdoor grills. Fishing and canoe accessibility. Love this place. We will definitely come again
